2nd Annual Lincolnville Arts Festival

WHEN: August 17 and 18, 2024

WHERE: The town of Lincolnville, Maine – the Center, the Beach, and Tranquility Grange (Sunday evening)

ABOUT:

Join us for a celebration of art and community as the Second Annual Lincolnville Arts Fest gets ready for an event on August 17th and 18th. We are happy to announce a tour of open studios throughout the town (click on link to interactive map below) and an outdoor pop-up show hosted by Windsor Chairmakers (on Rt.1). Individual studio event times may vary. In general, the tour will take place from 10-4 both days.

On Sunday, August 18th, there will be a post Lincolnville Arts Fest after-party with music and food at the Tranquility Grange. Come relax with the artists that opened up their studios for the Arts Fest and enjoy an evening of local music with neighbors. Sticking with the theme of Lincolnville Arts, there will be performances from 4 Lincolnville based musical acts starting at 4pm and ending at 8pm. The LCS 8th grade class will also be offering up pulled pork sandwiches and drinks as part of the 8th grade fundraiser.  There is a suggested ticket price of $10 (not including food) but the ask is to do what you can afford.  The doors will open at 3:30pm and the music will start at 4pm.  If we reach the building occupancy capacity we will need to turn folks away so please keep that in mind. Carpooling is encouraged!

Musical acts are:

4pm-      Sar D. Jo (acoustic originals & unique covers)

4:45pm- Lise & Rose (traditional country and older rock)

5:45pm- Wade Graham and the Friday Night Band (originals and Americana)

6:45pm- Electric Bonfire (original rock, funk, reggae and jam)

The Lincolnville Arts Fest is an initiative born out of the passion for the arts that thrives in our town. This two-day event will highlight the rich diversity of artists, artisans, and crafters who contribute to the colorful tapestry of Lincolnville’s artistic landscape. Come spend a day or two treasure hunting and finding all the studios! Stop for coffee and a snack or stay for lunch at one of our sponsoring food venues. Look for our QR code in our publicity and on posters and fliers. The code will link to a digital map of participating artists and venues. We plan to grow and celebrate every year.
